Galleria Artina, Helsinki  2004

The exhibition at Galleria Artina discussed the fictitious nature of the essence of the works and the subject they represent. The collection comprised works with subjects that had already changed in some way. Factors inducing this change included cropping, breaking, presenting or becoming hidden. The fictitiousness of the subject was repeated in the material character of the works. Through perception, three-dimensional sculptures became flat and picture-like, which turned them into illusion, into fiction.
