Leda, Maiastra, Rooster and fly

A fly is walking on safetyglass between viewer and sculptures of Ateljee Branqusi in Paris. Camera imitates the flight of fly. Fly stops on Branqusis polished bronze sculpture Leda, flies around Great Rooster and sits on chest of blue Maiastra.

To Constantin Branqusi photos were substitues of written or spoken words in interpretation of his works. He carefully examined and experimented with possibilites of photography to get the right pictoral reproduction of his works. Constantin Branqusi had also a 16 mm film camera which he used instead of filming moving image to take still photos.
